We are living in unusual and rapidly changing times. Times like these challenge the status quo and force us to see that nothing is certain.
So what can help us to navigate these uncertain times?
Nature. Some things are constant and will always be there to help us through tough times.
Spending time in nature reduces stress levels and helps to calm the mind. Rather than feeling lost in anxious, catastrophic thoughts about the future, nature grounds us. It also stimulates new ways of thinking and creativity.
When we spend time in nature we become more attuned to how we are feeling - an embodied sensory experience in which we can find more creative solutions to our current challenges.
This Afternoon Retreat offers you an opportunity to remember our interconnectedness with all life, helps you connect to something bigger than yourself, fostering a deeper, kinder connection with yourself, others and the world; increasing a sense of wellbeing.
We will walk in silence for some of the time, reflect in pairs and have moments of sharing with the whole group.
Please bring snacks and water as needed.
Please make sure you are physically able to attend this walk and aware that you join this walk at your own risk.
