Mindfulness for healthy living – 4-week going deeper course
Every Tuesday 15 September – 6 October 2020, 2 – 4.30 pm
Venue: Kew Gardens
Led by Karen Liebenguth
Mindfulness is a practical way of bringing beneficial changes to our lives. The principle underlying mindfulness is both simple and profound: awareness is transformative.
This 4-week going deeper course will build on your existing knowledge of mindfulness, offering further insights into the theory of mindfulness as well as more practical tools to enhance and enrich your awareness of your day-to-day experience and how you feel about yourself, others and your life.
This unique mindfulness course offers the added benefits of spending time in nature, amidst the beauty of Kew Gardens. Being outdoors greatly facilitates a mindfulness practice and enhances our general wellbeing with its crucial restorative and rejuvenating qualities. We naturally slow down when we’re in open, green space and our senses heighten as we connect to what’s around us.
This course is suitable for anyone who has attended the mindfulness for healthy living foundation course at Kew Gardens (or any other introductory course to mindfulness) and who would like to learn new key concepts and refresh and deepen their practice in their lives.
Sessions will be held in the gardens with an indoor venue available for rainy weather.
