This retreat day will be an opportunity to explore the nature of the mind, our thoughts and what happens when we practice mindfulness.
We will be taking a closer look at the conditions and qualities of the mind and how they can impact the way we relate to our thoughts. We'll explore three core skills that can support us in cultivating a present, alert and compassionate mind, and help us to understand unhelpful habits.
The retreat will start on Friday, 13 August at 7-8pm BST with an hour long introductory session to meet and to set an intention for the retreat. On Saturday, the day will consist of meditation practice, exercises, self-reflection, teaching and sharing in small and the wider group.
There will be a two-hour lunch break as well as a morning and afternoon break.
This retreat is for anyone who has had a regular meditation practice for at least 6 months.
