What will you learn in this workshop?

Stressful things happen and often we can’t do very much about them.
Mindfulness helps us discover that we don’t have to live with all the unhelpful thoughts and feelings that our minds tend to throw up in reaction to stressful experiences. Mindfulness practice doesn’t get rid of problems – while we’re alive we’ll always have problems – it helps us change our relationship with them.

In this afternoon of mindfulness practices and meditation, we will explore different aspects of mindfulness and how it can help you better deal with stress and anxiety on a day to day basis. You’ll experience simple meditation techniques that you can practice in your daily life.

The workshop is suitable for anyone, whether you are new to mindfulness and meditation, or have experience and need a refresher.
