Who is this course for?
It’s for anyone wanting to learn mindfulness practice amid a beautiful natural setting. We will be doing exercises sitting, standing and walking.
The course is held within a supportive and friendly group setting. The course will take place partly indoors and partly outdoors in the natural and beautiful gardens at Kew tapping into the beneficial effect nature has on our psychological, emotional and physical wellbeing.
How can you benefit from this course?
Mindfulness helps tap into our own inner resources. This happens naturally through mindful exercises such as coming back to our senses, appreciating and connecting with nature, body awareness, mindfulness of breathing, mindful walking. Mindfulness practice helps us develop clarity of mind, calm and a greater ability to respond rather than react to life’s ups and downs. Mindfulness practice doesn’t get rid of problems – while we’re alive we’ll always have problems – it helps us to change our relationship with them.
Places are limited to 12
