From Workplace Unhappiness to Workplace Happiness

We spend more of our time working than doing anything else, and researchers have found that these hours are on average the least happy of our lives. Widespread stress in knowledge-based industries accounts for a large proportion of workplace absence and represents a huge loss of national productivity.[1]

Companies now recognise that the investment in employee mental health and emotional resilience in the workplace is as essential as investment in employees’ professional skills and physical health.

I run mindfulness workshops and courses for staff, managers and leaders helping them understand how stress happens and better deal with stress and anxiety in everyday working life to prevent burnout and long-term sickness.

Outcomes: Increased self-awareness, emotional resilience, collaboration, decision making and innovation – overall happier and healthier staff.

Duration: Standard course: 1.5 – 2 hrs workshops over six consecutive weeks.

If you are not sure whether a 6-week mindfulness for the workplace course is for you, I offer a 2-hour Introduction to Mindfulness workshop for your staff to get a taste of what mindfulness is and how it can help them better deal with stress and anxiety at work.

Karen ran a short session to introduce our staff to the concept of mindfulness. The session really helped our organisation understand how focusing on the moment can not only reduce our workplace stress levels but also ensure we are focused and productive whilst at work.
